2024 Fine Arts Exhibition: Forced Perspective

60+ provocative artworks on view May 2 - June 14, 2024 in the Fourth Floor Gallery of the Decatur Library. The juried multimedia exhibition features unique artworks from across the United States, presented in conjunction with the Decatur Arts Festival. Join us for a closing reception on Friday, June 14 from 6:30-9pm.

“Return to Catlandia” – a Tom Zarrilli Exhibition

Atlanta-based artist, Tom Zarrilli, returns to the Decatur Arts Alliance gallery with a new exhibition featuring familiar characters. 'Return to Catlandia' showcases over 20 artworks (including paintings, ceramics, and collages) of cats and other animals exploring familiar and fanciful situations and locations. Show run: April 19-May 26, 2024. Join us for an opening reception on Friday, April 19 from 6:30-8:30pm.

Placita Latina: Latinx Artists Exhibition

Placita Latina returns to the Decatur Arts Alliance gallery in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month. Seven artists from different countries exhibit 14 original works in the "Rooted in Our Latinx Heritage" exhibition, on view daily from 10am-4pm from September 15 until October 13, 2023. Join in celebrating the month-long exhibition's close with music, food, and a Latinx market on Friday, Oct. 13 from 6:30-9:30pm.

The Book As Art v.11: Myth & Magic

The Book As Art v.11: Myth & Magic. Exhibition runs Sep. 7 - Oct. 30, 2023, in the 4th-floor gallery of the Decatur Library (Thursday-Saturday from 1-5 pm). Join us for the opening reception on Friday, Sep. 8th from 6:30-9:00pm.

Fine Arts Exhibition

The Fine Arts Exhibition is back with a few “small changes”. This year all artwork on display is no larger than 24 inches in any direction. And we have a new space! Head to the newly renovated 4th floor gallery of the Decatur Library to view the exhibit. Exhibit opens May 4.

The Decatur Arts Alliance is partnering with Placita Latina to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month! Come and view “What Makes Us Who We Are: A Celebration of Latinx Artists” at the gallery.

Paint Love Exhibition: Collective Strength

The "Collective Strength" exhibition showcases work from professional artists in the Paint Love community as well as youth pieces from featured programs. The exhibit runs August 13-September 4. Videos of students contemplating 'why art matters' and 'how we can make our community a better place' will play during the exhibition, sharing their insight and inspiration.
