A long-time Atlanta resident, Tom Zarrilli has exhibited art throughout the US for nearly twenty years and has managed numerous galleries and music clubs in his professional career.  He recently served as the managing director for Gallery 378, an art gallery and music venue in Candler Park.  As an artist, Tom has written about and extensively documented roadside memorials and yard sales, sharing the captivating photography in various exhibitions, including ‘A Year in the Yards of Clutter and the Driveways of Divestment’ at Atlanta’s Contemporary Arts Center.  His conceptual works include A Year in the Yards of Clutter, an interactive installation that functioned as a yard sale, and Grand Lago de Atlanta, a proposal to replace Atlanta’s expressways with a large lake.  Dissimilarly, Tom also explores the intricate inner lives of cats and other animals through conceptual painting artworks.  These imaginative pieces retain the humor and novelty of his photographic works, often placing his beloved favorite subjects (his two cats) among fanciful and familiar landmarks.
