“Return to Catlandia” – a Tom Zarrilli Exhibition

Atlanta-based artist, Tom Zarrilli, returns to the Decatur Arts Alliance gallery with a new exhibition featuring familiar characters. 'Return to Catlandia' showcases over 20 artworks (including paintings, ceramics, and collages) of cats and other animals exploring familiar and fanciful situations and locations. Southern Fried Bake-Off (24-hr Play Festival)

Little Amal Visits Decatur

Tuesday, Oct. 10th at 5pm | What if you suddenly lost the one precious item you brought with you when you were forced to leave home?  The City of Decatur shows Amal how a community can come together to help. "The Walk" is a public art project that features a 12-foot, 10 year old Syrian refugee child. Since July 2021, Amal has travelled over 6,000 miles to nearly 100 cities in 15 countries. Her urgent message to the world is “Don’t forget about us." Be a part of her incredible journey.
