The Decatur Arts Festival Is Coming – In Early May!

The Decatur Arts Festival is moving up to Mother's Day Weekend! Come enjoy cooler weather and support the arts. The festival is free for all and will have a large artist market, live music, comedy acts, and theatre performances. Kids' even get their own festival on Saturday.

Women Create: Art at Trinity

Join Trinity and Decatur Arts Alliance for a fun evening full of art, creativity, sips and light bites at an annual art show celebrating International Women’s Month! The show features paintings, ceramics, woodwork and jewelry by women artists, featuring Fossil and Hide, Silt Studio, Nancy Hostetter, Liefje Smith, Kylie Blue, Kelley Ayers Sheehan, with music by the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra women’s Merian Ensemble.

Porchfest

Saturday, Oct. 9 • Noon – 7 pm • Georgia’s largest organic, free-range, crowd-sourced music festival is the coolest neighborhood event ever. This year there will be 200 performances on porches and lawns all around Oakhurst. That’s roughly 30 performances every hour across a square mile! And it’s free!

Placita Latina: Emerging Latinx Artist Showcase

The Decatur Arts Alliance is partnering with Placita Latina, a month-long celebration of Latinx culture in Decatur and Avondale Estates to launch the Emerging Latinx Artist showcase during Hispanic Heritage Month. The exhibition highlights the work of six Latinx artists, from different backgrounds and experiences, each exploring the question; “What makes us who we are?”
