The focus of my current series, Adulting, is about our intermittent struggle with facing the challenges and monotony of the boring, uninteresting tasks that come with being an adult, such as, decision making, mature and healthy expressions of our feelings, paying bills, laundry, the DMV, etc. Often times this has us be more in touch with our inner child, who wants to have fun and not be bothered by these “”adult”” responsibilities. Sometimes this includes us having perceptions of themselves in a distorted or exaggerated fashion when dealing with these scenarios and this series is a humorous approach to expressing these thoughts and feelings.
