Fundamentals of Quilting with Lauri Jones

Whether you’re brand new to quilting or looking to build your sewing skills, you’ll learn the essential techniques needed to create beautiful quilts with confidence. Over five weekly sessions, you’ll make your own crib-sized quilt while practicing fabric cutting, pressing techniques, accurate seam allowances, basting, machine quilting, and binding. We will also spend time talking about design strategies for selecting pattern and color.
With step-by-step instruction and plenty of hands-on practice, you’ll leave class with a finished quilt, practical skills, and the confidence to tackle future quilting projects. Students must bring a sewing machine in good working order.
