Entirely organized through the goodwill and generosity of the community, Oakhurst Porchfest brings together an enormous assortment of musical styles for a day of neighborly connection. This grassroots event facilitates around 200 porch performances annually. No tickets, reservations, or fees; just a great day of good vibes.

Artists and porch hosts donate their time and resources, but the Decatur Arts Alliance pays for police presence, crossing guards, porta potties, event permit and insurance, and staff time. Help to keep this and other community events free to the public by contributing to the nonprofit! As a 501(c)3, City of Decatur taxes do not fund the organization – but all individual contributions are tax-deductible!
