Underneath the roots of a tree that is both holy and demonic a ‘Dancer’ rests with a daisy of thought growing from their mind. This work seeks to visually depict the oppression of free thought existing within the framework of religion and a society that places religious bigotry above the well-being of its people. It highlights the struggles faced by individuals trapped within the confines of dogma. Ultimately, this work serves as a visual testament to the enduring power of critical thinking and the importance of fostering an environment that nurtures free thought.
