This piece was created after a piece that I titled “The monster I remember” It was based on remembering trauma from childhood and refering to it as “the monster.” After creating that I used the green hands from from the first piece and incorporated it into this piece. It represents the past and the paon, and speaks to how individuals have to decide to be defined by the story or embrace being the storyteller. Using past experiences to inspire others, through vulnerability and authenticity.
