Climate change puts all of us in proximity as never before. The currents of water that bind us together are irrevocably changed. I used a salvaged glass tabletop to sculpt the land and water forms in a sandbed kiln, and created androgynous figures that can stand and be moved throughout the scene. We do not have to stand still; we have agency, and we can choose to unite the figures or keep them apart.
