I spent the past year photographing people and when I look at my body of work some of those individuals show their struggles. Whether it be a woman forced to leave her country that’s torn by war, or others simply struggling to survive in the streets of Atlanta. It’s a perspective that I can’t identify with but through photography we can show the hardships going on in our communities and even abroad. All these pictures have stories and I hope at least one person through examining my photography can find empathy for someone they can’t relate to.
