From the artist: “Abie believes in the power of personal stories. In his own life, touched by Parkinson’s, he paints to face the fear that follows in the dark, to find Divine healing and courage of the heart.”
About the artist: Jon Abercrombie sought to give voice to the stories that shape our lives and communities, the stories of those left out and left alone and most often unprotected by power. He learned to paint through seminars with the encouragement of artist friends. He lives with his wife Frances in Decatur.
