Public Art Mural Project at Halo Decatur
Northwood Ravin, with the Decatur Arts Alliance, seeks qualifications from professional artists for a public art project of five exterior murals at "Halo Decatur," a new mixed-use development in Decatur, GA. This is a two-phase selection process. This RFQ invites artists to submit qualifications only. Finalists will be invited to develop site-specific concepts in Phase Two. HOME v.2: Homeland
The HOME Exhibition is a juried multimedia showcase presented by the Decatur Arts Alliance in collaboration with the Decatur Land Trust. Professional and student artists of all mediums are invited to submit up to 3 artworks for consideration. Exhibition run: May 29 - July 17, 2026 in the 4th Floor Gallery of the Decatur Library.
2026 Decatur Arts Festival Postponed
After 35 years of bringing art, music, and community to downtown Decatur each May, the Decatur Arts Festival will take a creative pause in 2026. With the major downtown renovations currently underway on the city square, the Decatur Arts Alliance is using this moment to reflect, refresh, and thoughtfully plan for the next chapter of this beloved event.
