May 15 - RFQ Deadline

Open Call: 5 Mural Project at Halo Decatur

Northwood Ravin, with the Decatur Arts Alliance, seeks qualifications from professional artists for a public art project of 5 exterior murals at “Halo Decatur,” a new mixed-use development in Decatur, GA. The first phase RFQ invites artists to submit qualifications only. Finalists will be invited to develop site-specific concepts in Phase Two. Oct. – Nov. 2026 – Mural installations

"Absurdity" Community Exhibition

The 4th annual community exhibition produced by the Decatur Arts Alliance on view at the Decatur Visitors Center daily between 10am and 4pm. The 2026 theme explores the space between logic and lunacy. “Absurdity” exposes the tension between truth and disbelief, clarity and confusion. Like a funhouse mirror, the distortion of reality can be at times silly and unsettling.

May 28 - Deadline

Summer Solstice Artwalk Business Registration

Businesses with a physical address inside the city limits of Decatur are invited to participate as a “SunSpot” during the 2026 Summer Solstice ArtWalk on Thursday, June 18th from 6-10pm. Businesses host an art experience at their address and provide light refreshments for a fun community evening exploring the shops, businesses, and restaurants that make Decatur great.
