Discover the foundations of great art through the timeless practice of drawing! In this welcoming, hands-on course, you’ll build essential skills—from observing form and light to creating depth, texture, and expressive lines. Whether you’re brand new to drawing or ready to sharpen your technique, you’ll explore tools and approaches that help bring your ideas to life on the page. By the end, you’ll leave with greater confidence, curiosity, and a solid groundwork for any artistic pursuit.
This course will help artists:
Understand the basic elements and principles of drawing
Understand line quality, value scale, positive & negative space, perspective, measurements and composition
Learn to experiment with different techniques and materials
Learn multiple ways to approach drawing that will increase your accuracy and confidence
