Decatur artist and foster mom Julie Ann McKevitt created her Strength and Beauty series of acrylic paintings to illustrate the wide range of thought and emotions she’s discovered in strong and beautiful girls.
Julie is the founder of Paint Love, a non-profit that provides creative outlets for youth. She is also a muralist and was featured in an issue of Creative Loafing. Her work can be seen on the Atlanta BeltLine.
