Decatur businesses – Reserve your spot for the ArtWalk!

Local galleries, retailers, businesses, and restaurants have the opportunity to kick off the Decatur Arts Festival weekend with the ARTWALK, a single-night, city-wide art experience that is free and open to the public.

Locals and out-of-town visitors stroll around town to see ArtSpots: exhibits hosted at local galleries, retailers, and restaurants and enjoy complimentary snacks and drinks.

How It Works

Businesses with a physical storefront in the Downtown area of Decatur sign up to become “ArtSpots” and commit to hosting an exhibition of handcrafted work (2D, 3D, Wearable Art, etc.) or a live arts experience (digital drawing, acoustic music, etc.) while providing light refreshments (wine, cheese, sweets, etc.). Participating businesses are responsible for securing an artist/artists and providing refreshments. Artists should be present to meet and greet during the event.

The Decatur Arts Alliance markets the event as part of the Decatur Arts Festival and provides promotional materials for businesses. The Decatur Arts Festival website and social media will include information for each ArtSpot – business names, locations, and details about the featured artists. A free ArtWalk poster will be provided to each participating business.

A $30 tax-deductible donation to the Decatur Arts Alliance is required to participate, which helps to fund promotional materials. Join or renew your 2024 Corporate Membership to the Decatur Arts Alliance for $100 and the ArtWalk participation fee will be waived.

2024 ArtWalk Business Registration
Businesses with a physical location inside the city limits of Decatur are invited to participate as an Artspot during the ArtWalk. *Artists may NOT use this form and will not be connected with any participating businesses.
Artspots are required to showcase an art element during the ArtWalk - preferably with a live component. Artspots are responsible for independently coordinating with their featured artist(s).
The provided description will be included in the promotional materials for the ArtWalk.
A $30 tax-deductible donation to the Decatur Arts Alliance is required to participate which helps to fund promotional materials. Join or renew your 2024 corporate membership to the Decatur Arts alliance for $100 and the ArtWalk participation fee will be waived! **Artists may not use this form and payment will not be reimbursed if submitted.
