Decatur Artist Grants Available – Apply by Aug. 31

The Decatur Arts Alliance awards four seed grants – each worth $500 – to local artists. Submit your application by Aug. 31 for consideration. Only one submission per person.

Your one-page application must include:
Project description (150 words)
How will the project impact Decatur? (35 words)
How will the project be experienced? (35 words)

Submit grant application by Aug. 31 (Only the first 50 submissions will be considered)
All projects must be completed by Dec. 30, 2014
Summary report with images and written statement due Jan. 15, 2015

The Decatur Arts Alliance is a nonprofit partnership of artists, business owners, residents and government dedicated to supporting and enhancing the arts in the city of Decatur. The DAA sponsors annual festivals as well as special art events for members only. It also provides a collaborative environment to coordinate the interests of artists, gallery owners, theater groups, dance groups and performance venues within Decatur and to develop the city as a strong arts community.
