“Return to Catlandia” – a Tom Zarrilli Exhibition

Atlanta-based artist, Tom Zarrilli, returns to the Decatur Arts Alliance gallery with a new exhibition featuring familiar characters. 'Return to Catlandia' showcases over 20 artworks (including paintings, ceramics, and collages) of cats and other animals exploring familiar and fanciful situations and locations. Open Call – The Book As Art, V. 11: Myth & Magic

Artists are invited to submit their interpretation of the "book" as an art form in this year's The Book as Art, V. 11: Myth & Magic exhibition. Artists are challenged to look inward and outward, to interpret classical myths and tales, to explore and expose modern myths and myth-making, and to create new, magical tales. This year’s beautiful festival poster reflects the exuberant spirit of Decatur’s Bicentennial celebration and the arts’ vital role in the community. We're excited to announce the return of the Fine Arts Exhibition — with a few "Small Changes." A change of location, a shift in the time of year, and artwork that's no larger than 24 inches! All artists are invited to participate in the 34th Annual Decatur Fine Arts Exhibition, a juried multimedia presentation in conjunction with the Decatur Arts Festival, by submitting an entry by March 24.
