The "Collective Strength" exhibition showcases work from professional artists in the Paint Love community as well as youth pieces from featured programs. The exhibit runs August 13-September 4. Videos of students contemplating 'why art matters' and 'how we can make our community a better place' will play during the exhibition, sharing their insight and inspiration.
The Decatur Arts Festival is moving up to Mother's Day Weekend! Come enjoy cooler weather and support the arts. The festival is free for all and will have a large artist market, live music, comedy acts, and theatre performances. Kids' even get their own festival on Saturday.

Saturday, Oct. 9 • Noon – 7 pm • Georgia’s largest organic, free-range, crowd-sourced music festival is the coolest neighborhood event ever. This year there will be 200 performances on porches and lawns all around Oakhurst. That’s roughly 30 performances every hour across a square mile! And it’s free!
The Decatur Arts Alliance is partnering with Placita Latina, a month-long celebration of Latinx culture in Decatur and Avondale Estates to launch the Emerging Latinx Artist showcase during Hispanic Heritage Month. The exhibition highlights the work of six Latinx artists, from different backgrounds and experiences, each exploring the question; “What makes us who we are?”
