Open Studio Day (BYOPumpkin!)

Join us for the first Open Studio Day at the Hyatt Cottage in Legacy Park! Stop by between 3-6pm on Sunday, Oct. 27 to meet the first round of Creative Village artists, explore their work studios, and learn more about their craft. Don’t forget to bring your pumpkin of any size – there will be a decoration station for the young and young at heart to create a Halloween masterpiece! Enjoy light refreshments for a fun, spooky afternoon.

Discounted “Early Bird” tickets are on sale now for the Decatur Arts Alliance’s annual fundraiser, the Decatur Wine Festival! Join the party on Saturday, Nov, 9th from 12:30-4:30pm on the Decatur Square to sample over 350 varieties of wine from around the world — all while supporting local art programs! Purchase tickets before Sep. 5 for only $50, with general admission tickets $60 until Nov. 8, and day-of tickets for $70. While supplies last!!

The Book As Art v.12: Rock, Paper, Scissors

This unique exhibition returns to Decatur with over 40 creative interpretations of the “book” as a format. On view in the Fourth Floor Gallery of the Decatur Library Thursdays to Saturdays between 1-5pm. Join us for an opening reception from 6:30-9:00pm on Thursday, Sep. 5 to be the first to see the impressive artworks while enjoying light refreshments. Interested in getting involved?
