It's not too late to apply for the Artist Market at the Oakhurst Arts and Music Festival! We have EXTENDED the application deadline until Monday, August 18, 2008. Oakhurst Arts and Music Festival Applications are Now Available!
The Annual Oakhurst Arts & Music Festival is held at the center of the Oakhurst community in Harmony Park. This event is presented by the Decatur Arts Alliance in association with the South Decatur Community Development Corporation.
The Oakhurst Arts & Music Festival provides opportunities to reach out to one another and strengthen the bonds within our diverse community. It is also an occasion to share our community with people from outside the area. The day’s event offers a safe, fun environment for children and adults to enjoy.
The Decatur Arts Alliance is currently seeking artists for the Oakhurst Artist Market, musicians for the Oakhurst Music Stage. We are also offering opportunities to participate in the Oakhust Children's Area and the Oakhurst Community Pavillion.

Volunteer at the 20th Annual Decatur Arts Festival!
Experience the excitement of the Decatur Arts Festival firsthand by becoming a festival volunteer! You'll get to work alongside other dedicated local art lovers, learn about the inner workings of a big public event, and lend your talents to making this year's festival a success. And did we mention a FREE Decatur Arts Festival T-shirt? Volunteers are needed in all areas of the festival and we do have group volunteer opportunities. Participate in the 9th Annual Decatur ArtWalk!
Local Decatur businesses are invited to take part in the 9th Annual Decatur ArtWalk on Friday, May 23, 2008. Each year, local galleries, retailers and restaurants host Decatur’s largest, single-night art experience with citywide openings and receptions that are free and open to the public.
